As early as 3,500 B.C., the Sumerians were already making billing records on clay tablets. Today, we would not be able to cope with the volume of data using either clay tablets or Excel spreadsheets. We extract, sort and process data using AI. And people are not that different from 5,500 years ago. They want to be able to understand where information comes from. Even more so now that AI is involved.
